What Play Style is my Dog?
Your dog’s play style is simply the way they naturally like to engage with toys and games—there’s no “right” one, and lots of dogs are a mix.
Here’s a quick guide:
- Chewer: Loves to gnaw, shred, and work their jaws (durable toys are a must).
- Chaser: Obsessed with movement—fetch, tug, anything that zips or bounces.
- Cuddler: Prefers soft toys, comfort, and gentle play (often carries toys around).
- Forager: Lives for sniffing and searching—nose work, hiding games, treat puzzles.

What if I’m not sure which play style to choose?
Does your dog gravitate toward more than one play style? We have options! You can add on additional play style toys and change your selection in-between boxes.
What are the interactive toys?
Interactive toys are the engagement toys in your box—designed to keep your dog busy by making them think, problem-solve, and work for rewards (usually food, but sometimes just the “challenge” is the fun).
When you choose interactive toys, you’ll typically pick a Level 1 or Level 2 option:
- Level 1 = easier entry-level challenge
- Level 2 = a bit more tricky (for dogs who’ve done puzzles before)
And they’re not always a traditional “puzzle board.” Interactive toys can include things like:
- Puzzle-style toys
- Slow feeders
- Rolling/tumbling treat-dispensing toys
- Other “work-for-it” enrichment toys that match your dog’s style and skill level
Is this good for reactive, anxious, or senior dogs?
Yes. Enrichment is about the outcome of the activity, meeting your dog where they are. You’ll get ideas you can scale up or down depending on energy, mobility, and comfort.
Quick note if your pup has more complicated behaviors: Enrichment can be a huge support, but it isn’t a replacement for professional help. If you’re dealing with things like aggression, severe anxiety, reactivity, or bite history, we recommend working with a qualified force-free trainer or behavior professional (look for credentials like IAABC, KPA, CCPDT, or a board-certified veterinary behaviorist). They can help you build a plan that’s safe, supportive, and tailored to your dog.
When do boxes ship?
Your first box ships within 7 business days of signing up.
After that, boxes ship every other month on the 20th: Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec

Your second payment might come sooner than two months if you join close to the next box cycle.

- Example: Next billing is Feb 5. If you sign up on/after Jan 22, your next charge will be Feb 5.
